Employers, commercial insurers, Medicare and Medicaid programs must continue to meet the needs of an increasingly diverse America. The perspectives and customs of several ethnic populations, and of women, often shape their willingness to seek medical services as well as their choice of health care provider or medication. Health care literacy is an added challenge for some populations – even among those fluent in English. We provide expertise in developing and executing strategies for health care providers and pharmaceutical manufacturers to overcome the barriers that limit the success of the current marketing and sales efforts directed to physicians and patients among the key ethnic populations and for women. In addition, we provide policy research – including evidence based approaches – to support effective public policy to address disparities in access to quality health care services. |
